Fall Colours Experiences
Color WalkExperience Fundy Trail at its most vibrant during this limited-time guided autumn walk, offered on only three special dates this season. Wander through a stunning landscape of brilliant reds, oranges, and golds while learning about the flora and fauna that make this coastal forest so unique. Along the way, your guide will help you discover some of the park's best photography locations, making this the perfect outing for nature lovers and photographers alike.- Distance: 3-4 km.
- Duration: 1.5-2 hours.
- Difficulty: Easy.
- Highlights: Peak fall colours, scenic forest views, photography opportunities, interpretive storytelling.
- Experience: Perfect for nature lovers and photographers looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of autumn.

Hearst Lodge Guided HikeDiscover one of Fundy Trail's most iconic destinations surrounded by the rich colors of autumn. Follow the Big Salmon River through a beautiful forest canopy painted in fall hues before arriving at the historic Hearst Lodge.- Distance: 7 km (round trip).
- Duration: 3-4 hours.
- Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous.
- Highlights: Scenic river views, historic lodge, forest trails.
- Experience: Bring your lunch and enjoy a relaxing riverside break at the lodge while learning about its fascinating history.
Meeting Point: Parking Lot 8.
McLeod Falls HikeExplore a peaceful forest trail through brilliant autumn colors on your way to the impressive McLeod Falls. This hidden gem offers a rewarding combination of cascading waterfalls, towering trees, and some of the park's most striking fall landscapes.- Distance: 4 km (round trip).
- Duration: 2.5 hours.
- Difficulty: Easy.
- Highlights: Wetland ecology, wildlife viewing, interpretive storytelling, scenic boardwalks and observation areas.

Melvin BeachWhere vibrant autumn colors meet the Bay of Fundy shoreline. This guided coastal hike offers stunning views of colorful cliffs and forests overlooking the world's highest tides while revealing hidden shoreline treasures along the way.- Distance: 5 km.
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate.
- Highlights: Coastal geology, sea caves, tidal crossings.
Meeting Point: Parking Lot 2.
Long Beach Brook FallsFollow a forest trail illuminated by autumn colours as you make your way to one of Fundy Trail's most picturesque waterfalls. The contrast of cascading water against the vibrant fall foliage creates a truly memorable seasonal experience.- Distance: 2.2 km.
- Duration: 1 hour.
- Difficulty: Moderate (uneven trail surface; steep ascents and descents).
- Highlights: Explore Long Beach Brook Falls, one of four waterfalls in Fundy Trail Provincial Park. Once home to a river-powered lumber mill, you can still spot the turbine in the river today. Please leave any artifacts in place and report them to park staff for inspection. Return through a lush, mossy forest for a peaceful end to your hike.

Tide ExplorersCelebrate the changing seasons from the shoreline. This family-friendly adventure invites participants to explore Fundy's fascinating intertidal zone while enjoying crisp autumn air and coastal views framed by colorful forests.- Duration: 1–1.5 hours.
- Difficulty: Easy (family-friendly).
- Adventure gear advised: Clothing appropriate to weather and can get wet (you will get wet), water shoes or rubber boots and a bucket!
- Highlights: Tide pools, marine life, hands-on learning, shoreline exploration.
- Format: Guided program for families and children.
